Before starting Thousand, I never wore a helmet, even though I was a longtime cyclist. But when I lost a friend to a fatal bike crash, I knew I had to change. Instead of settling for the "sci-fi" looking helmets on the market, I got to work designing one. We named our company "Thousand" as a goal to help save 1000 lives by making helmets people actually want to wear. Our name is a daily reminder of why we do what we do.

FIT NOTES: Every head is different, but with our helmets' integrated dial fit system, it's easy to make small adjustments for a comfortable fit. Just turn the dial clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. You can also remove some or all of the interior fit pads without affecting the safety of your lid to accomplish your preferred fit.
